where i’m from

I was born and raised in the Minneapolis suburbs and have spent most of my life in Minnesota. I’ve been singing since I was in diapers, and before becoming a mom, I played in a band throughout the Twin Cities. Music and movement have always been constants in my life.

Yoga has been part of my journey for over 20 years and has given me more than I ever expected; confidence both on and off the mat, a deep sense of belonging, and an incredible community. I met my husband during a yoga training, and together we’re raising our amazing daughter. My practice continues to shape how I show up in my life, my teaching, and my relationships.

Continued education is important to me. I completed my 200-hour RYT in 2014 and my 500-hour E-RYT in 2020. I’m also certified in Yoga Sculpt, 200-hour Hot Yoga, and currently training in, and very excited about Neuro-Somatic Yoga.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Expect a supportive, inclusive space where you’re encouraged to listen to your body, release self-limiting beliefs, and explore what you’re capable of. Music is a meaningful part of my classes, with thoughtfully curated playlists to match the energy of the practice. When helpful, I offer hands-on assists, guided by consent. Above all, expect a teacher who truly cares and is invested in your growth- on and off the mat.
