Acro-Yoga is a playful and challenging way to expand your yoga practice. Using 2 or more bodies to cultivate strength and balance, Acro provides the space to expand your ability to be vulnerable and trusting with other people. This practice will build the foundations for beginner acro-practitioners to get comfortable with basing, flying and spotting. We will use our knowledge and creativity to explore how we can "lift" each other up in unique positioning, while emphasizing the practice of using your voice to speak your needs and truth!
In this two-hour experience, Justyn (assisted by her partner Adam) will guide you through exercises and postures that will teach you how to find your center while you are balancing on another body, how to be a strong foundation to support your partner while they are in the air and how to be a comforting support while your friends are elevated off the ground!
No prior experience or partner is required to attend this workshop. Just an open mind and a curiosity to explore your practice!
