You've asked - so we're answering! As you know, we don't play music in our Power Up classes, because we believe the breath is really all the soundtrack you need. How many times a day can you truly just be with your breath, thoughts, and emotions? Not many! We want to create a space where you can truly be present with yourself, without musical distraction swaying your experience and emotions.
But we also know that music lights us Up & can be a great catalyst for joy, peace, and connection. So when we do play music, it's a designated UpBeats class, or it's a little musical nugget during hip opening, or final Savasana (and/or a live concert from our UpLifter Melissa!). When we do play music, our UpLifters are very intentional with the selection. And we get a lot of requests to share the music that UpLifts our day.
